This Privacy Policy explains how Jenmari (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from this store. We are a small handmade-jewelry business based in Sacramento, California.
Information we collect
When you place an order or contact us, we may collect:
- Your name, shipping address, email address, and phone number.
- Order details, such as the items purchased and your shipping selection.
- Payment information, which is collected and processed directly by our payment provider (we never see or store your full card number).
- Basic usage and device information collected automatically when you browse the site (such as pages viewed and approximate location).
How we use your information
- To process and fulfill your orders, including shipping.
- To communicate with you about your order, respond to questions, and provide customer support.
- To detect and prevent fraud, and to keep the store secure.
- To improve our products and website. We do not sell your personal information.
- If you give us your email address, to send you occasional notes — including a reminder about items left in your bag, and word of new pieces. Stripe’s terms require us to say so plainly: every one of these carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and we honour it immediately. Order emails such as receipts and shipping notices are part of the order itself and continue either way.
Saving your bag
When you add something to your bag we keep a copy on our server for up to 30 days, so it is still there if you come back — and, if we have your email address, so we can send you a link to it. The copy holds only which pieces you chose and the options you picked; it never holds payment details. It is deleted after 30 days, and sooner once you check out. If you would rather we didn’t, unsubscribing stops the emails, and clearing your browser’s cookies for this site detaches the saved bag.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers we rely on to run the store, including:
- Stripe — to process payments securely.
- Our hosting and email providers — to operate the website and send order-related messages.
- Shipping carriers — to deliver your order.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) gives you the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request that we delete it, and to correct inaccurate information. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below and we will respond as required by law.
Data retention & security
We keep order information for as long as needed to fulfill orders, meet our legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
